African Village Nativity Set

Presenting the complete African Village Nativity set, comprising 32 intricately crafted pieces. The nativity scene features figures situated within a charming African hut, complete with a removable roof for easy access. The three wise men are depicted in reverent kneeling poses, offering their treasured gifts to honor the newly born King—one presenting a chicken, a culturally significant gift, while another holds fish. Accompanying them are a shepherd and an angel.

Three women also partake in the celebration, each bringing their gifts: a basket of flour, a pot, and a bundle of firewood.

The nativity scene is further enriched by a diverse array of animals from the African continent, including the Big Five (Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Rhino, Leopard) alongside a Giraffe, Hippo, Zebra, Warthog, Baboon, Ostrich, Camel, Meerkat, Crocodile, Sheep, Tortoise, and even a Great Whale. The presence of the whale symbolizes God’s salvation extending to the entire world, representing the unity of various ecosystems gathered in homage to the King.

Crafted from Muwanga wood and finished with beeswax, the hut measures 22.5 cm in height, while the accompanying tree reaches 24 cm, with the other figures standing below 18.5 cm.
