Traditional African nativity

This is a Traditional African nativity piece made of Muwanga wood. Having African wild animals from a couple of Elephants, Buffalos, a Rhino, Lion (king of the jungle) sitting on the rock, Zebras and a Giraffes, it is cleverly carved!

On the opposite side are men and women bringing different gifts to newly born child. A man carrying fish on his shoulder, a woman carrying a basket on her head, a man with a sack on his shoulder then a woman with a bunch of bananas on her head. On the bottom line: a woman carrying a pot,a man with chicken in his hands, a woman with firewood on her head and a shepherd with his sheep.

This is what happens when a child is born in Africa. This piece makes a perfect special Christmas gift but it could also be an excellent collection.

The size is 74cm by 29cm and the base is 10cm wide. It stands on its own and no need of hanging.
